A few days ago, the Passenger Association announced the ranking of domestic new energy car sales in January 2023.
According to the Association, January domestic new energy model sales of 332,000 units, down 6.3% year-on-year, the ring fell 48.3%, the impact of the Spring Festival holiday is relatively obvious.
Specifically in terms of models, BYD Dolphin took the first place in January, with sales of 17,582 units in a single month, an increase of 65.8% year-on-year.
Hongguang MINIEV in January sales of 16,416 units, down 38.5% year-on-year, although the Spring Festival holiday will indeed have an impact on sales, but the magnitude of this impact is really on the larger side.
The third ranking is BYD Qin family, January sales of 14,185 units, down 46.6% year-on-year, almost the worst performance in the past year; the reason may be the gradual discontinuation of the 2022 model, with the 2023 Qin PLUS DM-i Champion Edition model listed, upgrade the configuration at the same time there is a price cut, Qin family sales in 2023 is worth looking forward to.
4-15 in order is Tesla Model 3, BYD Han, Hongqi E-QM5, BYD Seal, Deep Blue SL03, NIO ET5, AION S, BYD Destroyer 05, Changan Lumin, Changan Benevolent EV, BMW i3 and Chery QQ ice cream.
From the list, the two models with the biggest increase are the Tesla Model 3 and the Hongqi E-QM5, as both had relatively low sales during the same period last year.
The model with the biggest drop is the Chery QQ ice cream, reaching 72.6%, which is not good enough to be explained simply by the Spring Festival holiday, and may still be a problem in terms of product competitiveness.
The biggest winner is still BYD, with as many as 5 models entering the list, occupying 1/3 of the places, and deserves to be the first domestic sales ranking of new energy car companies.
