Pre-sale from 21.28 million yuan, BYD Corsair will be listed on June 18? Monthly production capacity of 15,000 units

The BYD Corsair is a pure electric sedan that has received a lot of attention recently. It was launched for pre-sale in May and will be available in four configurations, with an official pre-sale price range of RMB 212,800 - 289,800.

The latest news shows that BYD Seal is expected to be officially listed on June 18, but the news has not yet been officially confirmed, and I have checked BYD's major official new media accounts, but I have not found any warm-up about the Seal's listing time, so there is still a big doubt about the listing time on June 18, and it cannot be fully confirmed.

However, the possibility of the BYD Corsair going on sale within this month is indeed relatively high, because according to local media reports in Changzhou, the BYD Corsair will start mass production in BYD's Changzhou plant in Jiangsu Province within this month, and the production capacity is expected to reach 15,000 units per month.

The reason why BYD Corsair is getting more attention is that it is a model based on e-platform 3.0, which has a relatively outstanding performance and range.

In terms of performance, BYD Corsair offers three powertrain options: the lower model is equipped with a rear motor with a maximum power of 150kW, peak torque of 310N-m, and acceleration time of 7.5 seconds for 100km; the middle model is equipped with a rear motor with a maximum power of 230kW, peak torque of 360N-m, and acceleration time of 5.9 seconds for 100km; the 4WD performance version is equipped with dual front and rear The 4WD performance version is equipped with dual front and rear motors, with a combined maximum power of 390kW and peak torque of 670N-m, and a 100km acceleration time of 3.8 seconds.

In terms of range, the standard range version is equipped with a 61.4kWh battery pack and a CLTC range of 550km, while the long-range version is equipped with an 82.5kWh battery pack and a CLTC range of 700km; the 4WD performance version is also equipped with an 82.5kWh battery pack and a CLTC range of 650km.

In addition, the official revealed that BYD Corsair debuted the CTB battery-body integration technology, which further merges the battery top cover and the body floor into one, allowing the power battery system to take into account the role of the energy body as well as institutional components, simplifying the body structure and production process, not only improving space performance but also further improving body strength.

Dimensions, BYD Seal's length, width, and height are 4800/1875/1460mm, with a wheelbase of 2920mm, positioned as a medium-sized sedan.

The new car is also more comprehensive in terms of configuration, offering a full range of standard features such as tire pressure display, parallel assist, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, active braking, front and rear parking radar, panoramic image, all-speed adaptive cruise control, automatic parking, uphill assist, panoramic canopy, keyless entry, one-touch start, built-in driving recorder, wireless charging of front cell phones, electric adjustment of front seats, matrix automatic LED headlights, adaptive high and low beams, automatic wipers, automatic air conditioning, and rear air vents, and heat pump air conditioning are not absent.

Then the question arises, will you consider BYD Corsair?
