Recently, FAW HONGQI officially announced that its new HONGQI E-HS9 model was officially launched, with 8 models available and an official guide price range of RMB 509,800-779,800.
As an annual facelift, the new car is not adjusted in appearance, the front is the family straight waterfall grille design, but for the pure electric model closed treatment, full of momentum; both sides of the headlight cluster using a split design, daytime running lights are located in the hood edge, the high and low beam is located in the grille on both sides of the inflow slot area, the style seems more individual.
The HONGQI logo grille extends upward to the hood, bringing excellent recognition. The lower surround is equipped with trapezoidal air intakes, decorated with a horizontal structure inside, effectively increasing the sense of hierarchy of the front end.
On the side, the roof line is slightly down from the B-pillar, with shark fins to bring a certain sporty atmosphere; the waistline adopts a thorough design, making the visual effect appear slender while enhancing the sense of layering on the side of the body; the roof also creates a suspended shape, giving the impression of being quite fashionable; the shape of the wheel brow and side skirts is also relatively rigid, giving the overall impression of being quite sturdy.
In the rear, the smoked taillights are designed with a running design, and a bifurcated design is added on both sides, effectively stretching the horizontal visual width of the rear and making the visual effect seem more individual; the lower surround is equipped with a running chrome strip, and a diffuser shape is created, creating a more sporty feel.
Size, the new car's length, width, and height are 5209/2010/1731mm, wheelbase is 3110mm, and positioning is a large SUV.
In terms of the interior, the HONGQI E-HS9 adopts a relatively simple design language, providing a three-spoke multi-function steering wheel, full LCD instrument panel, embedded central control screen, passenger entertainment screen, vehicle function control screen and electronic gear knob, the sense of technology to create a more in place.
Seats, the new car provides four seats, six seats, and seven seats in three layouts, but four seats are only available in the top flag leader version, the rest of the models only provide six or seven seats.
In terms of configuration, all new models can be equipped with optional wireless power battery charging for 36,000 yuan; the QiYue and QiHuan editions can be equipped with optional air suspension + CDC, an advanced assisted driving system, and passenger entertainment screen; while the QiYue, QiHuan and QiChang editions can be equipped with optional AR HUD, car fragrance, 16 speakers and other configurations.
In terms of power, the new vehicle is equipped with a four-wheel-drive system consisting of dual front and rear motors. The QiYue and QiXiang versions have a combined maximum power of 320kW and peak torque of 600N-m, with a range of 460km (84kWh battery pack) and 690km (120kWh battery pack).
The flagship version and flagship leader version have a combined maximum power of 405kW and peak torque of 750N-m, with a range of 510km (99kWh battery pack) and 660km (120kWh battery pack).
