At the Chengdu Auto Show, Tank SUV officially unveiled its Tank 300 PHEV version, the biggest feature of the new vehicle is equipped with a hybrid system, fuel economy performance has been significantly improved, and will be opened for pre-sale within this year.
From the actual picture, the new car's front shape and the current fuel version of the model are not significantly different, the front face is a rounded rectangular grille design, and the internal use of clusters of horizontal structure for decoration, is very hierarchical; both sides of the round headlights are a common design style of hardcore SUV, the internal also integrated through the daytime running lights, the style is more personalized.
The lower part of the surround has a tougher shape, with the bumper protruding significantly from the body and fog lamps integrated on both sides, effectively increasing the sense of power performance.
The side shape is also unchanged, the body lines are relatively square, and the new white paint is available, the side skirts are equipped with exclusive pulling, showing the unique identity; the wheel brow and side skirt part of the shape is relatively thick, further enhancing the hardcore atmosphere. The waistline adopts a thorough design, making the visual effect appear slender and atmospheric while enhancing the sense of layering on the side of the body.
In the rear, the external spare tire also has a strong recognition, the smoked taillight cluster adopts a vertical layout, the style is more refined; the shape of the lower part of the surround and the front bumper echoes the style is more rigid, the exhaust pipe adopts a hidden layout.
Dimensions, the new car length, width, and height of 4760/1930/1927mm, respectively, wheelbase of 2750mm, and the fuel version on sale basically remain the same.
The interior is also unchanged, offering a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, a full LCD instrument panel, an embedded center screen, and an electronic gear knob.
In terms of power, the official revealed that the new car is equipped with a hybrid system consisting of a 2.0T Miller cycle turbocharged engine and electric motor, with a combined maximum power of 224kW and a combined peak torque of 640N-m, matched with a 9HAT gearbox, and a 100km acceleration time of fewer than 9 seconds.
