February new power brand sales TOP 10: LI, NIO nearly doubled, Xpeng, Leapmotor is still weak

Introduction: Recently, major new power brands have announced their production and sales reports for February 2023, and the Top 10 new power brands sales for February have also been officially revealed. Specifically, there were four new power brands that sold more than 10,000 units in February, namely GAC AION, LI Auto, NIO and NETA, all of which achieved a year-on-year increase, with GAC AION once again breaking the 30,000 unit mark and LI Auto and NIO nearly doubling. The top 10 new power brands in February sales: LI and NIO nearly doubled, while Xpeng and Leapmotor remained weak!

Specifically, the top three new power brands in terms of sales in February were: GAC AION, LI Auto and Weilai Auto, and the overall performance of all three brands was relatively good. GAC Eyen returned to the top of the list, with sales exceeding the 30,000 mark in February, reaching 30,086 units, a year-on-year surge of 253%. LI Auto and NIO also performed steadily, both breaking 10,000 units again in February, with sales of 16,620 units in February, up nearly 10% year-over-year, and 12,157 units in February, up over 40% year-over-year.

 

NETA, Xpeng and ZEEKR are the top four to six new power brands in February sales, with NETA's sales exceeding the 10,000 mark in February, up 41.5% year-over-year. Xpeng's performance remained weak, but was up more than 15 percent from January, but also down slightly from the same month last year. ZEEKR ranked sixth, with sales exceeding 5,000 units in February, also achieving a big increase both sequentially and year-over-year, although this is not its best level.

Finally, the top 10 new brands include DEEPAL, Leapmotor, Skyworth and Arashiro, all of which sold less than 5,000 units in February. DEEPAL sold 4,103 new cars in February, down 33% from January, while Leapmotor remained in the doldrums, selling only 3,198 units in February, though sales doubled from January. Both Skyworth Auto and VOYAH sold only 1,000 units in February, with VOYAH's ringgit down.
