Maximum range of 401km, fast charging half an hour, 97,800 yuan can buy, the actual test Geometry E

On the one hand, high gas prices, on the other hand, policy encouLYRIQment, so that now the pure electric models are increasingly popular, especially certain 100,000 yuan-class pure electric models for urban mobility, almost in short supply, which also allows more and more similar models, increasing the choice of everyone, Geometry E is such a model, how is its product strength? Today we will talk about it.

Geometry E is a small SUV, now the new model is to 2023 models, including 2022 models, the manufacturer's guide price of 86,800-13,180 yuan, in terms of price and positioning, can be said to be a very mainstream 100,000-class pure electric mobility car. Today we will take the 401km Linglong Tiger five-seat version (guide price of 97,800 yuan) as an example to see how much strength it has.

From the first impression, Geometry E is in line with the public aesthetics, whether it is the front running daytime running lights or the LED headlights, or the simple and flexible body posture, the whole has reached the requirements of a mobility car, and the dual-link screen and simple interior layout will increase the user's good feeling. On the internal and external design, the Geometry E is beyond the standard of a 100,000 yuan-class pure electric model.

Of course, the appearance and interior are relatively secondary, as a pure electric model, the range, charging and power are the focus of our attention. In terms of power, the Geometry E is equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous motor with a total power of 60kW and a total torque of 130N-m. The actual driving performance of the Geometry E is also completely adequate, with a relatively fast acceleration response, which is basically more than enough to cope with urban commuting. Only when the speed reaches 80km/h, the power of the Geometry E will be somewhat weakened, and the high-speed driving is still a bit less meaningful.

It is worth noting that the chassis tuning of the Geometry E is still a remarkable place, although it is the use of the front MacPherson rear torsion beam non-independent suspension, but the overall suspension performance is more tough, and sound insulation, vibration filtering is not too bad, driving is relatively smooth, while driving also has a good comfort, in the 100,000 yuan-class pure tram market, the Geometry E chassis performance is considered very mainstream level.

As for range and charging, the Geometry E is equipped with a lithium iron phosphate battery pack from Ningde Time, using air-cooled cooling, battery energy for 33.5/39.4kWh two versions, today's test model is the latter. In terms of charging, the Geometry E supports slow charging and fast charging. The slow charging was not tested, so the actual performance is unknown, but the fast charging performance of the Geometry E is still very good, charging from 20% to 80% of the battery only took 38 minutes.

In terms of range, we did not test the highway section, but simulated the daily use of the car, during the peak traffic period, the outdoor temperature of 9 degrees, the Geometry E to the standard mode in urban driving, the whole air conditioning open second gear, air conditioning temperature is set at 18 degrees, after running 45km, the apparent mileage is reduced by 57km, equivalent to the actual range of the Geometry E fully charged state is about 316km. Considering the low temperature in winter, such range performance is quite good, after all, the actual range of more than 300km is enough for most people to cope with the needs of a weekday commute.

Overall, the performance and range of the Geometry E is not too good in today's new energy market, and it is only the mainstream level in the 100,000 yuan-class mobility car market, but its winter range can basically exceed 300km, and it also supports half an hour fast charging, so it is fully capable of urban mobility, commuting and grocery shopping needs. So consumers who have this demand, geometry E is worth considering.
