Recently, Maybach officially announced the launch of its 2023 Maybach GLS600 model, which is available in two configurations: Ritual Edition and Ritual Shang Edition, with official guide prices of 2,248,000 yuan and 3,121,000 yuan respectively.
As a small model, the new car does not change in appearance, the front is a family of straight waterfall grille design, has a strong sense of momentum, with the Mercedes-Benz logo also brings excellent recognition; both sides of the headlight cluster using the smoked black treatment, the internal integration of dot matrix daytime running lights and lenses, the style looks more sophisticated.
The lower part of the surround adopts a through design and is decorated with a high-gloss chrome mesh structure, which effectively stretches the horizontal visual width of the front and enhances the sense of hierarchy of the front end; the bottom is also equipped with a high-gloss scuff plate, further enhancing the texture.
The side shape is consistent with the Mercedes-Benz GLS, but the two-color body brings a better sense of luxury. The roof line is relatively rounded and equipped with a thick luggage rack, which has a strong sense of power; the wheel brow and side skirt have obvious bulges, and the close spaced wheels further enhance the sense of class.
The rear end is also not very different from the Mercedes-Benz GLS, with the taillight cluster being blacked out and connected by a running chrome strip, with the concave license plate frame effectively increasing the rear end's hierarchy; there is another running chrome strip under the tailgate, and the bottom is embellished with a silver gray scuff plate.
In terms of dimensions, the new car's length, width and height are 5210/2030/1838mm, with a wheelbase of 3135mm, positioning it as a large SUV.
In terms of interior, the overall layout also adopts the family design style, providing a three-spoke multifunctional steering wheel, 12.3-inch crossover dual-link screen and electronic pocket gear, technology to create a better sense of place.
Seats, the new car is a four-seat layout, the second row with two independent executive seats, support for electric adjustment, massage, heating and ventilation, and the rear legroom up to 1.34 meters.
In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a 4.0T V8 twin-charged engine matched with a 48V light-hybrid system, with a maximum power of 557 hp and peak torque of 730 N-m, matched with a 9AT transmission and four-wheel drive system, and a 100 km acceleration time of 4.9 seconds.
