On September 15, GAC AION officially held a conference to announce the launch of a new logo, and also released its Hyper SSR model, a pure electric supercar with an official pre-sale price range of 1.286 million yuan - 1.686 million yuan, which will be delivered starting in October 2023.
In terms of shape, the front of the new car adopts the AION family design style, the headlight cluster is relatively flat, the internal use of black treatment, the style appears to be quite sharp; the hood on both sides of the design has a significant bulge, effectively increasing the sense of power.
The lower part of the surround adopts a symmetrical two-segment design style, integrated with a triangular deflector, surrounded by the addition of black trim for embellishment, and the internal use of black honeycomb structure for decoration, the style looks sharper and very sporty.
In terms of side shape, the classic two-door sliding back shape has a strong sense of movement; the waistline adopts a through design, making the visual effect appear slender and atmospheric while enhancing the sense of layering on the side of the body; the side skirt part is also equipped with an aerodynamic kit, with five-spoke low wind resistance modeling wheels to further enhance the sporty atmosphere. The gull-wing doors are also not absent, and they open at a wider angle.
In the rear, the top of the trunk is designed with an electric lift tailgate, and the blackened taillight cluster is designed with a through-transmission design, which effectively stretches the horizontal visual width of the rear; the lower surround is equipped with a more exaggerated diffuser, and the style appears to be more aggressive.
The interior can also see the shadow of the family design, providing a two-spoke flat-bottom multifunction steering wheel, full LCD instrument panel, a floating center screen, and a paddle-type electronic gear knob; the seats use a one-piece sports style, with a relatively strong package.
Power, the official did not reveal the new car at the end equipped with several motors, only that the integrated maximum power reached 1225 horsepower, peak torque reached 12000N-m, 100 km acceleration time of only 1.9 seconds.
