Pre-sale from 279,800 yuan ROEWE iMAX8 EV will be listed on August 20 with a maximum range of 570km
A few days ago, SAIC ROEWE officially announced that its ROEWE iMAX8 EV model will be officially listed on August 20, the new car will launch three configurations to choose from and has already opened pre-sale, the official pre-sale price range is 279,800 yuan - 329,800 yuan.
The new car can be seen as a pure electric version of the ROEWE iMAX 8, in the shape of a small adjustment, the front is still the family's large mouth grille design, the internal use of a similar scale-like structure for decoration, and the use of closed processing, in line with the identity of pure electric models, has a relatively strong visual impact.
Both sides of the headlights are blacked out and have integrated matrix LED light sources, which are connected to the daytime running lights, effectively stretching the horizontal visual width of the front; the grille is also equipped with large deflector slots on both sides, creating a wind blade shape inside, effectively increasing the sporting atmosphere.
In terms of side shape, the bottom line of the car is relatively straightforward to ensure maximum headroom for rear passengers; the waistline adopts a through design, making the visual effect appear slender and atmospheric while enhancing the sense of layering on the side of the body; the wheels adopt a multi-spoke flower petal shape, with a rather exquisite style. The upper edge of the window is equipped with a chrome strip that extends to the C-pillar, creating a suspended roof shape and bringing a touch of fashion.
At the rear, the taillights are blacked out and connected by a chrome strip, effectively stretching the horizontal visual width of the rear; the trapezoidal license plate frame is concave, embellishing the rear end's sense of hierarchy; the lower surround is decorated with a honeycomb structure and a chrome strip, making the visual effect seem less monotonous.
Size, the new car's length, width, and height are 5016/1909/1796mm, wheelbase 3000mm, and positioned as a medium to large MPV.
In terms of interior, the overall layout is no different from the fuel version, providing a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, a full LCD instrument panel, a floating center screen, and an electronic gear knob, the style is relatively simple; the air conditioning vents also use a similar through design, effectively increasing the sense of a class of the interior.
In terms of configuration, the new car is equipped with front and a rear parking radar, reversing camera, fixed-speed cruise control, automatic parking, hill climb assist, steep hill descent, segmented electric sunroof, keyless entry, one-touch start, main driver's seat electric adjustment, rear seat electric adjustment, second-row seat ventilation/heating/massage, automatic LED headlights, automatic air conditioning and independent rear air conditioning as standard.
In terms of power, the new vehicle is equipped with an electric motor with a maximum power of 180kW and a peak torque of 350N-m, which is paired with a ternary lithium battery pack with a capacity of 90kWh. The range of the lowest model under CLTC conditions is 570km, and the range of the middle and high models under CLTC conditions is 550km.
