At 05:00 Beijing time on March 2, Tesla's Investor Day was officially opened, and Musk's previously proposed Master Plan Part 3 was officially unveiled. According to the latest information, the third chapter of the "secret ambition" mainly includes: energy storage 240 kilowatt hours (TWH), energy requirements less than half of the fuel economy, renewable electricity 3 billion kilowatt hours (TWH), renewable energy production facilities accounted for 0.2% of the land area, energy storage resources to reach 2022 world GDP 10%, and $10 trillion in manufacturing investment, among others.

Specifically, the third chapter of the "secret ambition" announced on March 2, 2023, involves future model planning, cost control of the third-generation platform, more efficient sustainability resources, increased global energy storage related business, and manufacturing investment targets. According to the official information released, the future plans of Tesla announced in chapter 3 of the ambition are mainly the following points worthy of attention: first of all, the new model Tesla Robotaxi, in addition to a new model, but according to the concept drawing, its design is a bit unique. The second is Tesla's next-generation car operator density increased by 44%, while assembly costs as well as production plant footprint have been reduced. Further is that the next generation platform (third generation) will reduce silicon carbide by 75% and permanent magnet motors will be completely free of rare earth materials, reducing total manufacturing costs by $1000. The fourth point is that it will increase Tesla's global energy storage related business. The fifth point is that by 2030 Tesla's annual vehicle production will reach about 20 million units.

Ambition Chapter 3

The first chapter of the "secret ambition" has already been completed, with the Model S/X and Model 3/Y as representative products. The second chapter of the "secret ambition" was not completed, such as the development of autonomous driving, which is 10 times safer than manual driving.

The first chapter of Tesla's "Secret Ambition", announced on August 2, 2005, involved the production of cars, the expansion of its electric vehicle line, and energy storage. "The first step was to build a sports car (completed), represented by the Tesla Roadster (photo); the second step was to produce affordable cars (completed), represented by the Model S and Model X, based on the first generation of the car platform. Picture|Configuration|Inquiry), the price of the two models is about 100,000 U.S. dollars; and the third step is to produce more affordable cars (completed), its representative products are based on the second-generation platform Model 3 and Model Y, the two models are priced at 50,000 to 60,000 U.S. dollars. And the fourth step is to complete all of the above while also offering a zero-emissions power generation option, which is already now Tesla's solar business.

Next is the second chapter of Tesla's "Secret Ambition" announced on July 20, 2016, which deals with the integration of renewable energy production, the solar rooftop program, and self-driving technology. "The first step is to create amazingly efficient, aesthetically pleasing solar panels with integrated power storage (already completed), with products/businesses such as Tesla Rooftop PV and Powerwall. The third step is to develop autonomous driving, which is 10 times safer than manual driving through a large amount of car driving data, and this step has not been fully implemented. The fourth step is car sharing, which allows your car to make money for you when it is not in use, and the degree of completion is also relatively low.
