It is worth mentioning that the Star Plus L has also become the industry's first five-star model since the implementation of the new C-NCAP (version 2021) standard.

 

The evaluation data shows that the Star Plus L performs very well in occupant protection, pedestrian protection and active safety, and scores higher than the industry average in five of the items, demonstrating its high safety performance.

As a domestic authoritative auto assessment, C-NCAP (China New Car Assessment Program) will take the initiative to upgrade the safety crash test standards every once in a while, and has been in line with the international mainstream NCAP as a whole, and some of the assessment items have even achieved international leadership. The technical requirements of the newly revised C-NCAP (2021 version) regulations have been comprehensively upgraded.

C-NCAP is established by the China Automotive Technology Research Center, an independent and impartial third-party evaluation organization, to give consumers systematic and objective vehicle safety information through safety performance evaluation, and promote automobile enterprises to develop and produce in accordance with higher safety standards, ultimately effectively reducing injuries and losses in road traffic accidents.
