The first plug-in model of the brand Maybach S 580 e released with 100km of pure electric range

A few days ago, Maybach officially released the official diagram of its Maybach S 580 e. The new car is the first plug-in hybrid model under the Maybach brand, kicking off the curtain of the Maybach brand's shift to new energy.

 

From the viewpoint of the official drawing, the front of the new car is not significantly different from the current Maybach S-Class. The lower part is still the classic three-stage design, with large deflectors on both sides and inverted trapezoidal air intakes in the middle, decorated with a black honeycomb structure and embellished with thick, high-gloss chrome trim around it.

Power, the new car is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system consisting of a 3.0T L6 engine and electric motor, with a combined maximum power of 510 hp and peak torque of 750 N-m, matched with a 9AT transmission, and a 100 km acceleration time of 5.1 seconds; the capacity of the battery pack is 28kWh, and the pure electric range of WLTP conditions can reach 100km.
