At the 2022 Guangzhou Auto Show, the new generation of Toyota Crown was announced to officially start pre-sale in China, with a pre-sale price starting at 369,000 yuan, a substantial price increase compared to the last generation of domestic 14 generation models.

The new generation model is not only a substantial increase in price, in the design style is also a radical change, to enable a new design style, once 12 Crown set the image of elegance and atmosphere gone, but become avant-garde personality, the entire front styling style and Toyota's new generation of new energy models are basically the same.

The side of the car uses a coupé design style, with a sporty slinky shape, eliminating the classic wide C-pillar design and instead using a fixed triangular window shape on the C-pillar.

The size of the new generation is 4930/1840/1540mm, with a wheelbase of 2850mm, which is much smaller than the 14th generation of the Crown, and has changed from a mid-size sedan to a mid-size sedan.
