From the official picture, the front of the new car is a relatively simple closed grille design, Audi logo can also glow, the two sides of the headlight cluster is relatively flat, using a smoked black treatment, giving a rather sharp feeling.
The lower part of the envelope is a three-part design, equipped with triangular deflector on both sides, the bottom of the shape is also more rugged, the overall style is quite tough.
Coming to the side of the body, Audi's classic Sportback and Allroad design concepts are perfectly embodied. The sliding back body has a strong sporting atmosphere, and the higher ground clearance with stubby wheelbrow and side skirts also brings a strong crossover model; and the new car is also provided with air suspension, and the minimum ground clearance is 208mm, and can be raised by an additional 40mm.
Interestingly, the lower part of the body of the new car, the front grille and other areas also use transparent glass material, can help the driver get a better view and reduce blind spots, but this technology to mass production should still have a long way to go, the foreign media speculation that the final production version of the model will be replaced with high-definition panoramic image to this design.
In terms of the rear end, the size of the tail window is relatively large and the style is quite rounded. More interestingly, the rear window glass can be completely retracted, allowing the trunk to become an open cargo compartment, similar to a pickup truck.
The interior, the overall design style is also full of futuristic, providing a three-spoke flat-bottom multi-function steering wheel and a small-sized suspended center screen, the steering wheel in the middle of the Audi logo will glow, the handle is suspected of using a knob type electronic pocket gear design; the center console part is equipped with through the air vents, further enhancing the sense of hierarchy.
And as with other Audi concepts, the steering wheel can be fully retracted to achieve autonomous driving, vehicle-related information and entertainment systems will appear in the form of holographic projection, the user can control the relevant functions through gestures and eyes, etc.
Power, the concept car is based on the PPE platform, equipped with dual front and rear motors, combined maximum power 325kW, peak torque 720N-m, with which is paired with a battery pack with a capacity of 100kWh, the specific performance and range was not announced.
