On February 8, Haval SUV officially announced that its Haval H-DOG is named Haval II Big Dog, which is the first new energy model of the Haval "dog" series.
In terms of shape, the new car adopts a new design style, the front face is designed with a trapezoidal grille, the internal use of dotted structure for decoration, the style looks tougher; both sides of the smoked black headlamps adopt a semi-circular design, the internal integration of the LED light source with lens, the style is more refined.
The lower part of the surround is also more rigid, with flat fog lamps and decorative polygonal deflectors integrated on both sides, and trapezoidal air intakes at the bottom, embellishing the front end's sense of hierarchy.
On the side, the body's lines are stiff and hard-edged. The roof is equipped with shark fins and a luggage rack, and the waistline is segmented to accentuate the sense of hierarchy on the sides of the car; the wheelarches and side skirts are equipped with thick black trim to further enhance the sense of power.
At the rear, the roof is equipped with a small size spoiler, and the smoked tail lights echo the front headlights, creating a better sense of texture; the trapezoidal license plate frame area adopts a concave design, accentuating the sense of hierarchy at the rear; the lower bracket has a tougher shape, and the exhaust pipe adopts a hidden layout.
The dimensions of the new car are 4705/1908/1780mm in length, 1908/1780mm in height, and 2810mm in wheelbase. 24° near angle, 30° departure angle, 19° longitudinal passing angle, and 200mm minimum ground clearance.
Interior, the overall layout can still see the family design style, providing a three-spoke multifunctional steering wheel, full LCD instrument panel, suspended center control screen and electronic gear knob.
In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with a plug-in hybrid system consisting of a 1.5T engine and electric motor, with a combined maximum power of 230kW and peak torque of 530N-m, which is paired with a 2-speed DHT gearbox and a combined range of over 1000km.
