Expected to be released within this year BMW iX2 appeared in the Tesla charging station, a strong cross-border model

A few days ago, foreign media revealed a set of spy photos of BMW iX2, the new car is the next generation of BMW X2's pure electric version, based on FAAR platform, is expected to be released within this year and listed in 2024. Interestingly, the test car revealed this time was photographed inside a Tesla charging station, which was in charging mode.

From the spy photos, the new car is still in a highly camouflaged state, the front can see the traces of the double kidney-shaped grille, but the internal closed treatment, in line with the identity of the pure electric model; both sides of the headlight cluster looks to be already in production, although covered by camouflage stickers, but from the exposed details of the internal structure should be more similar to the new generation of BMW X1.

The lower part of the envelope has traces of a three-stage design with vertically laid out deflector slots on both sides, while the bottom is designed with rectangular air intakes and decorated with a horizontal structure inside, with a strong sense of hierarchy.

On the side, the new car adopts a sliding shape, which looks like a small BMW X4 from a distance, with smooth lines and a sporty atmosphere.

In the rear, a small spoiler can be seen at the top of the trunk, and the taillight cluster is blacked out. The internal structure cannot be judged yet, but the style seems to be flatter than the taillights of the new BMW X1.

The interior is not yet exposed to spy photos, the foreign media believe that the new car will follow the BMW iX1's interior design, providing through the dual-link screen, three-spoke multifunction steering wheel and paddle electronic gear knob.

In terms of power, the media believe that the new car will also follow the BMW iX1 powertrain, equipped with front and rear dual-motor four-wheel drive system, integrated maximum power 313 horsepower, peak torque 493N-m, WLTP operating range is expected to reach about 500km.
