At the Chengdu Auto Show, HiPhi officially announced the official launch of its HiPhi Z. The new vehicle is available in two configurations with an official guide price range of RMB 610,000-630,000; the new vehicle will be available for big orders and locking matches on October 1, and deliveries will be opened at the end of 2022.
In terms of shape, the new car basically follows the design style of the concept car, giving the impression of a more car ring; the hood is designed with multiple bulging rib lines, effectively increasing the sense of power; the air intake grille adopts a closed design, supporting the active air intake function, the top is equipped with a running chrome strip, effectively stretching the horizontal visual width of the front, while enhancing the sense of hierarchy of the front.
The new headlight cluster design is also interesting, with the second generation PML programmable intelligent headlight system, which can realize functions such as star ring ISD light curtain, interaction, and projection light language.
The shape of the lower part of the surround is more aggressive, creating a fang shape on both sides and a more aggressive style; the middle part of the shape is also more exaggerated, which plays an excellent role in embellishing the sense of movement.
Side shape, HiPhi Z gives a sense of a hunting car, the roof with a little sliding back line, and to create a suspended shape, the style looks more fashionable; wheels are multi-spoke low wind resistance shape, further enhancing the sense of movement.
And the new car also uses the front and rear doors design, the door opening angle is also relatively large, and passengers will be more convenient to get in and out of the car.
The rear end has a strong sense of hierarchy, the roof is equipped with a small size spoiler, and a smoked taillight cluster using a through design, effectively stretching the rear of the transverse visual width; the lower part of the bracket shape is more aggressive, to enhance the sense of power performance.
In terms of dimensions, the new car's length, width and height are 5036/2018/1439mm, and the wheelbase is 3150mm.
Interior, the new car provides a two-spoke multifunction steering wheel, a suspended center screen, and an electronic gear knob, the interior also has a relatively strong sense of science fiction.
In terms of assisted driving functions, the HiPhi Z provides a total of 32 driver assistance sensors, including 1 LIDAR (WoSai 128-line LIDAR), 13 cameras, 5-millimeter wave radars, 12 ultrasonic radars and 1 three-zone off-hand detection sensor, which can now achieve L2 level assisted driving functions.
In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a four-wheel-drive system consisting of dual front and rear motors, with a combined maximum power of 494kW, peak torque of 820N-m, and acceleration time of 3.8 seconds for 100km; it is paired with a battery pack with a capacity of 120kWh and a range of 705km under CLTC conditions.
