NETA S Launched at RMB 199,800 with Range Extender/Pure Electric Versions
On the evening of July 31, NETA Motor announced the official launch of its NETA S. The new vehicle is available in eight configurations, including extended-range and pure electric versions, with an official guide price range of RMB 199,800 - 333,800. The new vehicle will be delivered in the fourth quarter of 2022, with a 520km standard range pure electric version to be launched in 2023.
In terms of shape, the front of the new car is the common closed grille design of pure electric models, the style is relatively simple; both sides of the headlight cluster use a split shape, and the daytime running lights are sharper, high, and low beam is located in the triangular vent area on both sides of the grille, the style looks more personality, but also is currently quite popular design language.
The lower part of the envelope is designed with trapezoidal air intakes and decorated with a dotted structure inside, which not only enhances the sense of hierarchy of the front end but also embellishes a certain sporty atmosphere.
As for the side shape, the roof adopts a sliding shape, which makes the lines look smooth and also effectively increases the sense of movement; the waistline adopts a segmented design, which embellishes the sense of layering on the side of the body; the door handles adopt a hidden shape, which can play a role in reducing wind resistance; the wheels adopt a multi-spoke two-color design, which has a better performance in terms of texture.
In the rear, the top of the trunk is designed with a slightly upturned ducktail, and the smoked taillight cluster adopts a through design, effectively stretching the horizontal visual width of the rear.
Size, the new car's length, width, and height are 4980/1980/1450mm, wheelbase is 2980mm, and positioning is a mid-size sedan.
In terms of the interior, the overall design language is relatively simple, offering a HUD head-up display, three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, full LCD instrument panel, a large vertical layout of the central control screen, and electronic pocket gear.
In terms of configuration, the new car is equipped with tire pressure display, parallel assist, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, active braking, front and rear parking radar, panoramic image, full-speed adaptive cruise control, automatic parking, automatic parking, uphill assist, steep hill descent, panoramic canopy, electric induction trunk, keyless entry, one-touch start, built-in driving recorder, front seats electrically adjustable/heated, rear seats The new model is equipped with automatic LED headlights, adaptive high and low beams, automatic wipers, automatic air conditioning, and rear air vents.
In terms of power, the extended-range version is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system consisting of a 1.5L engine and electric motor, the maximum power of the engine has not been announced, the maximum power of the electric motor is 170kW, the peak torque is 310N-m, and the acceleration time of 100km is 6.9 seconds. The combined range under WLTC conditions is 1160km.
The rear-wheel-drive version uses a 170kW electric motor with a peak torque of 310N-m and a 100km acceleration time of 6.9 seconds and is paired with an 88kWh battery pack with a CLTC range of 715km.
The four-wheel drive version adds a front motor with identical parameters to the rear-wheel drive version, with a combined maximum power of 340kW and peak torque of 620N-m, and a 100km acceleration time of 3.9 seconds; it is paired with a battery pack with a capacity of 95kWh and a range of 650km under CLTC conditions.
