At the Chongqing Auto Show, Changan's UNI-V iDD version debuted, which is a plug-in hybrid version of the UNI-V and is expected to go on sale in the second half of this year.
In terms of shape, the new car basically follows the design style of the fuel version, the borderless grille is decorated with dotted structure inside, and the style looks more sci-fi; the two sides of the headlights are smoked black treatment, and the shape looks sharper.
The lower part of the surround adopts a three-stage design style, with large deflector slots on both sides and trapezoidal air intakes in the middle, the visual effect looks more aggressive and sporty.
In terms of side shape, the roof adopts a sliding design, and the lines look more smooth; the waistline adopts a thorough design, making the visual effect look slender and atmospheric; the door handles adopt a pop-up design, which can play a role in reducing wind resistance; the wheels adopt a smoked black multi-spoke shape, and the texture performance is more outstanding.
At the rear, the lift-up electric rear wing has been retained, but it is unclear whether it will be standard; the smoked taillight cluster adopts a thorough design, effectively stretching the rear transverse visual width; the lower surround is equipped with an exaggerated diffuser, and the exhaust pipe adopts a bilateral two-out layout.
Dimensions, the new car's length, width, and height are 4695/1838/1435mm, with a wheelbase of 2750mm, positioned as a compact car.
In terms of the interior, the overall layout follows the design style of the fuel version, offering a full LCD combination instrument panel, a suspended center screen, a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, and an electronic gear knob.
