The LYNK&CO 03 family debuts with a sharper shape and upgraded interior

 

On August 31, the LYNK&CO 03 model of LYNK&CO debuted, although the official name of this is a new generation of LYNK&CO 03, in fact, the new car is the mid-cycle version of the current model, in appearance, interior, and power have ushered in upgrades.

 

From the actual picture, the new car's shape has a bit of flattened feeling, the size of the grille has been reduced, the internal use of a black straight waterfall structure for decoration, and the two sides of the smoked high and low beam connected, a strong sense of visual integration; daytime running lights are still located on both sides of the hood, the magnitude of the bulge is slightly smaller than the old model, the style looks much simpler.

The lower part of the surround adopts a three-stage design, the style is more aggressive than the old model, equipped with triangular deflector on both sides, the interior creates a wind blade shape, giving a rather fierce feeling; the middle part adopts a rectangular air intake design, the internal use of straight waterfall structure for decoration, bringing a relatively strong visual impact.

The side shape is basically unchanged, the upper edge of the window is equipped with a chrome strip that extends to the end of the C-pillar, creating a shape similar to a suspended roof, the style is more fashionable; the waistline is a through design so that the visual effect appears slender and atmospheric while enhancing the sense of layering of the side of the body.

The rear end is designed with a small black spoiler on top of the trunk and smoked taillights with a through design, effectively stretching the horizontal visual width of the rear end; the lower surround is equipped with decorative deflectors on both sides with a vertical layout and the same wind blade shape inside; the bottom is equipped with an exaggerated diffuser and the exhaust pipe is a bilateral two-out layout.

The LYNK&CO 03+ also made its debut this time. The shape is basically the same as the current LYNK&CO 03, but an aerodynamic kit has been added to the front lip and rear end, and the spoiler has been upgraded to a more exaggerated size rear wing to further enhance the sporting atmosphere.

The interior also ushered in a small change, providing a suspended full LCD instrument panel, suspended center screen, three-spoke multi-function steering wheel, and electronic gear knob, the style is much simpler than the old model; materials also maintain the level of the old model, a large area of the use of tumbled leather material for wrapping, texture performance is relatively excellent.

It is worth mentioning that the new car's center screen is also equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, which has significantly improved both functionality and operational fluency compared to the old model.

In terms of assisted driving functions, the LYNK&CO 03 family will be equipped with Lynk Co-Pilot intelligent assisted driving system, which consists of 12 ultrasonic radars + 5-millimeter wave radars + 4 HD surround view cameras + 1 front view high precision camera, and contains 25 assisted driving functions.

Power, the LYNK&CO 03 will provide fuel version and plug-in hybrid version optional, fuel version equipped with 2.0T engine, there are 218 horsepower and 254 horsepower two versions, matched with 7-speed dual-clutch and 8AT transmission; hybrid version will be equipped with a hybrid system consisting of three-cylinder 1.5T engine and electric motor, matched with 3-speed DHT gearbox.

The LYNK&CO 03+ is equipped with a 2.0T engine with a maximum power of 265 horsepower, matched with what should still be an 8AT transmission and a four-wheel drive system.
